About Us . . .
Nine years ago I came to this area from San Diego where I spent several years pet sitting. I had also rescued dogs, cats , 20 rabbits and a bird.
When I first arrived, I was working at a nearby kennel and realized there were a lot of dogs that needed training. So I went to another trainer who took me under his wing. I started training and never looked back. I found something I was good at and enjoyed.
The personal satisfaction dog training gave me was unbelievable. I saw that dogs and their people learning and feeling good at the same time really made me feel as though I was doing something worthwhile. While training I would advise people to socialize their dogs. Well, there are no dog parks nor dog beaches in this area so there was no where to send them. I decided I would have a doggie day care one day; and that day is here.
"Doggie Day Care allows dogs to be with dogs, doing what dogs do." Since dogs are social they love being with each other, playing and "chewing" on each other. After an 8 hour day of these activities dogs go home tired and calm, and in many cases better behaved, much to the delight of their owners.
The mission I set out has been accomplished and I invite you and your dog to come for a free visit to A Pawsitive Place.
